The Eufy Clean X9-Pro Cleaner-Bot is our first robot-vacuum and we like it. I got this one because it had good reviews and also mops. Our house is a mixture of tile and carpet floors. The wife and I also have a 15-lb male short-haired (part-Bengal) cat.
Over the 3 years we have owned the X9-Pro, I've only done the common maintenance like cleaning the filter, removing hair tangled from main spinning roller, and cleaning the mop-tray about once a year.
Lately, I noticed (what appeared to be) clean water leaking from the front of the Auto Clean Station during a mop-cleaning cycle. Even though I only refill it with filtered-water from the refrigerator, it seems that 3 of the 4 water-nozzles were now clogged-up with white hard-water deposits.
In addition to the old-toothbrush I usually use, I carefully used a small paper-clip to help open the holes fully. Be careful not to scratch or damage the black plastic water nozzles themselves. You can alternate between paper-clip and toothbrush. Now, water pumped-in for mop-disc-cleaning can go where it needs to go, and not be forced-past the (low-pressure) rubber seals.
I think the X9-Pro Cleaner-Bot has been relatively normal with maintenance. About the only other thing I do is make sure the eyes and sensors are free of dust, cat-hair, and spider-webs. I very gently use a 100% cotton or micro-fiber rag on them (being careful to avoid any micro-scratching of the lenses). On the robot itself, the only thing I have ever used on the rag to clean it's body is a few drops of clean water.
Hopefully this helps someone. Not sure about yall, but I tend to keep my electronic gadgets a while. If yall have any other good tips, please post them below for the rest of us.
