However, neither require soldering to the CPU chip. If you upgraded your firmware, you must be using a special Cheerson custom version. I have links to v3.1.5, but there are also v3.2 and v3.2.1 available. Finally, if you ever get VCC power backwards, something will likely fry.Tesla1856https://www.blogger.com/profile/12858038899970631074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803380020498943121.post-58505748649466830162016-01-07T17:25:58.564-06:002016-01-07T17:25:58.564-06:00Hello

Tried swapping TX and RX no help, testing with the multimeter reveals that both in TX and RX always have 5.XX constant volt ..no change at all.
While hunting on the net i came across a wired post in intrsutable http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheerson-CX-20-3DR-Radio-for-New-Board/?ALLSTEPS which says on V5.0 the RX and TX has to be soldered directecly into the APM board (not on the extension board), checked the pinout of the atmet chip it is correct that pin 2 and 3 are RX and TX http://www.atmel.com/Images/Atmel-2549-8-bit-AVR-Microcontroller-ATmega640-1280-1281-2560-2561_Summary.pdf

But i am really scared to solder such a minute resister with a wire, i have already screwed up while performing micro soldering. I am pretty sure there is also some way on the software to change the UART configuration pin number.....any idea please share ....going crazy with this telemetry connection on the Cheerson CX 20 open source version.

ThanksNazir khanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03297972814923512913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803380020498943121.post-17811348931257324582015-12-15T16:26:45.821-06:002015-12-15T16:26:45.821-06:00No. See my Reply to your other blog post.No. See my Reply to your other blog post.Tesla1856https://www.blogger.com/profile/12858038899970631074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803380020498943121.post-30708758456812120622015-12-14T13:32:54.122-06:002015-12-14T13:32:54.122-06:00Hello Tesla,

Can I connect a powermodule with volt&current measurement to the PCB-2? Saw people soldering it directly to the CPU?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12842911674512285979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803380020498943121.post-31564870597045008962015-12-14T10:35:50.846-06:002015-12-14T10:35:50.846-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12842911674512285979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803380020498943121.post-24636959777643159972015-11-20T12:12:18.604-06:002015-11-20T12:12:18.604-06:00Should be Molex PicoBlade. Would you happen to have a copy of the originally installed AC3.1.2-Quanum file in case we ever need to revert back to factory code? Drop by RCGroups.com if you get a chance.
